Tree Relocation or transplanting is preferred to tree removal when possible. while trees are  less than 3 years old they can be relocated fairly easily. Special heavy equipment is, however, required for medium sized trees and its used requires extensive training and certification to operate. This equipment is very expensive to purchase and current training and certification is required for tree service professionals in order to rent it. Thus a tree service professional with proper certification will have to relocate any medium sized trees on a property.

​Redlands Professional Tree Service has 3 team members that have the required certification required to operate the equipment to facilitate removing a medium size tree and relocate it to the same property or to another property. It is important to keep in mind that this equipment is rather large and there must be a pathway to access the tree thank is to be relocated.

It is important to ensure the site where the tree is to be relocated, needs adequate space for the tree when it is full grown. There must be proper drainage for the tree in order to insure its healthy growth and for its roots to become fully established.  There needs to be adequate space between the tree at its maximum size and any structures on the property so prevent damage.
